“It’s good to know what you offer.” – Mr. J’s Story Mr. J wasn’t in crisis when he called our Carers Hub, he just wanted to plan ahead. As a carer for his wife, recently diagnosed with dementia, he’s managing a lot, including his own health. In one supportive conversation, we explored emergency planning, financial help, transport options, and practical dementia strategies. Mr. J left feeling reassured and better prepared. “Thanks very much for calling, it’s good to know what you offer.”

John, aged 53 previously worked in a warehouse environment until a serious injury left him with ongoing mobility issues. Unable to return to physical work, John realised he needed to retrain and explore new opportunities better suited to his circumstances. His goal was to move into and office-based role whether that was admin, a contact centre or IT support – he was open to exploring.
