Lorna Carter, our Health Liaison Specialist from Gloucestershire Carers Hub has been involved with the creation of a Carers' Charter in partnership with Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The charter outlines how we'll work together to offer tailored support to unpaid Carers.

Young Carers Action Day highlighted the vital need for breaks and support for young Carers. Gloucestershire Carers Hub, in partnership with Gloucestershire Young Carers, ensures a smooth transition for young adult Carers (18-25) into ongoing support. We also encourage workplaces to recognise and support young Carers within their teams by fostering awareness, open communication, and flexible working arrangements.
