Restart helps Britney set up her own business as eyelash technician

Britney was referred to the PeoplePlus self-employment team within the Restart programme in Maidstone as she was looking for support to set up and establish herself as a self-employed Eyelash Technician. Her business model was versatile, with the option to work from home as well as remotely.
Britney’s Business Advisor supported with the development of her business model and services, advising her specifically of alternate self-employed services that she may want to consider in order to generate additional revenue. Separately to this she was supported with HMRC registration, book keeping, insurances, self-assessment, marketing, and social media which was invaluable to Britney at the beginning stages of setting her business.
Going forwards PeoplePlus will continue to support Britney with the growth of her business through a combination of 121 meetings with her Business Advisor, webinars, and she will also have full access to the PeoplePlus Enterprise Hub.
