Recruitment Partnership with Bluestones One

At PeoplePlus we work with hundreds of employers across the UK to provide free recruitment support. They provide the vacancies, PeoplePlus provide freshly trained candidates and we all support local communities and help unemployed people back into work. Our employer partnerships are critical to our success and are part of what makes PeoplePlus unique.
One of these partnerships is with Bluestones One, who provide merchandising and installation services to retailers around the UK. They have teams based in most of the UK’s major cities and are always on the lookout for new talent.
We first met Ashley Jewitt (Director) from Bluestones One at a jobs fair around 6 months ago. Ashley was there looking to recruit and PeoplePlus were attending to promote our Adult Education Services. Over time he developed a relationship with Danielle Bennett (Regional Employer Manager) and David Gillin (Employer Relationship Manager) from our team in the North East and they started working together to see if we could help Ashley to fill any of his vacancies.
There was a lot of synergy between the services that PeoplePlus offers and the sort of people that Bluestones One were looking to recruit, they were keen to recruit in a socially responsible way and offer opportunities to people who were out of work.
Bluestones One offered fast start times and an easy recruitment process with low entry requirements, while PeoplePlus offered a previously untapped pipeline of candidates who were fresh from training and available to start immediately. Through our Social Recruitment Framework we, and our network of training providers, were able to offer a national service to help recruit in locations where PeoplePlus does not have a footprint. A match made in heaven!

To date, 88% of our candidates who have interviewed with Bluestones One have been offered work.
