Success at Networking Event in Folkestone Restart Office

Today the Folkestone Restart team held a networking brunch with various local organisations to introduce the Restart scheme and explore how we can facilitate collaborative working opportunities to provide joined up signposting and services in the area. Attendees also heard talks from Ivan Kent from Dover Council, Aspire and Christopher McNamara from Folkestone-Hythe Council Community Regeneration Fund.
Romee Thandi, Operations Manager for Folkestone Restart Scheme said " Wow what a day! So many people attended from all different industries. The opportunities that have come out of the event are amazing and many have stayed behind to talk to each other as well as our PeoplePlus Employment Advisor’s. One attendee was able to speak to our Employment Advisor team straight after the event about how we could help her to fill immediate vacancies she has.
This has been a massive success and everyone that attended seemed to really enjoy it. I cannot wait to do the next one."
