PeoplePlus Nominated for Three ERSA Awards

We are thrilled to announce that we have been shortlisted for three categories at the Employment Related Services Association (ERSA) Awards 2024. These prestigious awards recognise excellence across the employment support sector, honouring organisations and individuals who deliver exceptional services to help people find sustainable employment.
Our nomination for the Social Value Award reflects our commitment to creating lasting social impact through the Social Recruitment Advocacy Group (SRAG) which encourages employers to place greater emphasis on recruiting people who are disadvantaged in the labour market and the Social Recruitment Framework, which connects these employers with job seekers facing significant challenges. This framework has already helped over 3,500 disadvantaged individuals secure employment this year, promoting workforce diversity and addressing inequalities.
In addition to the Social Value Award, we are proud that two of our colleagues have been nominated for individual awards:
Darren Mellford, shortlisted for the Employer Engagement Practitioner Award, has driven impressive results, sourcing 140 vacancies in the last six months alone, helping 70 participants from the Restart Scheme into sustainable employment. His strategic, data-driven approach aligns industry needs with participant aspirations, creating long-term success for both employers and job seekers.
David Matthew, shortlisted for the Frontline Advisor Award, has shown remarkable leadership and creativity in his support of individuals facing complex barriers. Through his initiatives like "Walk and Talk" and "Good to Gab" sessions, he combines mental wellbeing with career development, while his "Glasgow for Beginners" course has supported those with limited English skills. David’s innovative and compassionate approach has transformed countless lives.
The winners will be announced during the ERSA Annual Conference in December where we are also sponsoring the 'Outstanding Participant' category. We are honored to be recognised for our efforts and look forward to the results.
