AAF's Success with the Midlife MOT Programme
PeoplePlus’s connection with AAF began when the Midlife MOT service was promoted through the Northumberland employability network via email. AAF’s Benefits and Payroll Officer, Tracey, caught wind of the initiative and reached out to us for more information. The sign-up process was seamless and after a brief call with Tracey, we provided detailed information about the service and got them set up for participation.
The response was overwhelming, with nine employees expressing interest. Suzanne, our Midlife MOT coordinator, organised both group and one-on-one awareness sessions. Remarkably, all nine attendees not only participated in the awareness sessions but also signed up for their initial assessments.
The Midlife MOT workshops received high praise from those who attended. One participant expressed gratitude for the well-presented workshops and highlighted the valuable insights gained, particularly in the Wills and Careers sessions.
Tracey, the Benefits and Payroll Officer, experienced the ‘Health Bus’ appointment, describing it as a perfect way to start the new year. She emphasised the positive impact of the health tests, an experience she hadn't encountered before.
Looking ahead, AAF remains dedicated to prioritising the well-being of their staff by continuing to offer the Midlife MOT programme. They have recently shared the service details with all employees, demonstrating their commitment to employee welfare. As new staff members become eligible or existing staff reach the age of 45, they can access the service immediately.
