What is happening
PeoplePlus will be transferring the delivery of our Independent Living Service Advice & Guidance and Direct Payment services to a specialist organisation called People Places Lives (PPL).
PPL is a very experienced provider that focuses on direct payments, personalised support and helping people live independently in their communities.
From 1st June 2026 the PeoplePlus team who currently support you will move across to PPL. This means the same people and team you already know will continue to work with you.
What this means for you
Your support will continue as normal.
The way you receive support, the people you speak to, and the services you rely on will stay the same. Any Direct Payment arrangements and payment schedules you have will also continue as they do now. You do not need to take any action for this change to happen.
Over time you may notice People Places Lives (PPL) appearing on written and digital communications instead of PeoplePlus. These are administrative changes only and will not affect the support you receive.

Data Protection
We want you to feel confident that your personal information is treated with the highest level of care. We will need to share your data with PPL in order for your support to continue, we will do this safely, securely, and strictly in line with UK GDPR and data protection laws.
