PeoplePlus will be transferring the delivery of our Direct Payment services to a specialist organisation called People Places Lives (PPL) on 1st June 2026
PPL is an experienced provider that focuses on direct payments, personalised support and helping people live independently in their communities.
From 1st June 2026, the PeoplePlus team who currently supports your employer will move across to PPL. This means the same people and team they already know and trust will continue to work with them. However, there will be some administrative changes relating to how payroll and Direct Payment support will be managed.
What this means for you:
This is an administrative change only. There will be:
- No change to your pay date
- No change to how you are paid
- No change to how timesheets are submitted at present
- No change to the telephone number or contact details you use
- No change to the support provided to your employer
The same teams will continue to support payroll processing. The systems and processes you are familiar with will remain in place.
The only difference is that from 1st June the organisation responsible for managing payroll administration will be PPL rather than PeoplePlus.
You do not need to take any action for this change to happen.

PPL is a specialist organisation with extensive experience in delivering Direct Payment and payroll administration services. They work nationally to support service users and Personal Assistants and bring strong expertise in this field.
We are working closely with PPL to ensure a smooth and seamless transition.
Your Data
In order to continue processing payroll and ensuring you are paid correctly, we will transfer relevant payroll and employment data to PPL.
This transfer is necessary so that your pay can continue without interruption from 1st June.

Please note that without transferring your payroll information, PPL would not be able to process your pay from 1st June.
NEST Pension Schemes
If you are currently contributing to a NEST pension scheme, no action is required from you. As part of the transition, we will transfer delegation of your employer’s pension scheme directly to PPL within the NEST system.
Your pension contributions, enrolments and payments will continue as normal throughout this transition.
If you do not currently contribute to a pension scheme, this section does not apply to you and no changes will be made.
