Social Recruitment in Partnership with the Priory Hotel

Paul currently recruits nearly all of his workforce from disadvantaged backgrounds including those who are long-term unemployed, have disabilities or who have served time in prison - people he says 'have always previously been overlooked.' One of his current employees; Lowan served a prison sentence and was referred to Paul at the Priory Hotel through PeoplePlus whilst he was still in prison. Three days after his release Lowan started work at the Priory Hotel and hasn't looked back since - that was January 2022.
Now Lowan is working with Paul to pay it forward and give something back to those who need it most. Through the Serendipity Initiative and the Neighbourhood Kitchen, they run food banks for those who need it most, along with sourcing supplies and toys, cooking hot meals and preparing food hampers for disadvantaged people across Louth.
Our short video hears from both Paul and Lowan sharing their journey and experience with us, along with their all-important ethos of giving something back.
