TRAINING ACCOUNTS

Train for a new career and pick up new skills in Scotland with Individual Training Accounts

If you’re aged 16 or over, unemployed and not in education, we can help you get sector-specific skills we know local employers are looking for.

And even if you’re in work and on a low income, we can still help you. We’ll give you the tools you need to stay in work and progress up the ladder.

We deliver this programme on behalf of Skills Development Scotland. They’ll give you up to £200 towards this kind of training – and you don’t need to pay it back. Courses are linked to the local labour market to help people gain the skills that employers need in order to succeed.

This means, we can offer accredited training in:

  • Care
  • Construction
  • Customer service
  • Hospitality

Eligibility

To be eligible for this fully-funded training, you must be:

  • Living in Scotland
  • Aged 16 or over
  • Not in education
  • Unemployed or earning less than £22,000 a year

Applications are open until 28 February 2022, or until 28,000 people have applied for training – whichever comes first.

Time is of the essence. If you qualify, find out more by emailing [email protected] or calling Julie on 07812 745 464.
